The Highway Authority recommends a HOLDING OBJECTION until further information has been provided which addresses the issues raised in this response, including:     

• More information on the proposed active travel links to Dummer and the Basingstoke Golf Course and Hounsome Fields sites    

• Speed survey results for the A30 and required amendments to the proposed site access and off-site highway works designs 

• Revisions to the site layout to ensure vehicles can manoeuvre safely through the site 

• Details on internal bus facilities and crossing points on the access road 

• Confirmation of how trip distribution has been applied to the estimated trip numbers 

• Further detail on the TEMPRO growth factors used in the assessment 

• Revisions to the A30/Trenchards Lane geometries in the modelling assessment

• Amendments to the Framework Travel Plan
